Veda and the Vedic
Veda means “source of divine knowledge”. This refers to the wisdom of truth and the store of absolute knowledge based upon a series of sacred spiritual texts. The Veda’s are ancient Hindu scripture’s that were written during the time of ‘Satya Yuga” by “Ved Byasa” (the son of the great enlightened sage Parasar). The Veda’s were written at least 4000 years before. These ancient sciences have been protected by many pious people given the history of Nepal/India and its uncountable invasions.
Vastu
Vastu is an ancient science which provides the knowledge about how to arrange the combination and balance of the cosmic energy in house, office, garden or any place. This science is a holistic concept of architecture and interior design. Its principles are partially utilized in Feng Shui in the western world. This knowledge is based on the ancient Asian science of construction and placement according to nature's laws and rules. The depth of Vastu principles are equally as relevant and effective today as they were in thousands of years before, and when utilized properly, they promise to improve the quality of our living experience both at home and in working life.
This important technique offers guidelines on how to create a supportive environment that will enable us to manifest our inner potential and easily reach our true capacity. In other words, Vastu is a science that recognizes which natural forces and energy are supportive and which are oppressive and thus shows us the way to a life of harmony, health, contentment and prosperity.
